Photo Manipulation & Ethics
A-The main points I read in the article were that first off any slight adjustment made a photo is considered photo manipulation or editing. Secondly, editing and photoshopping dates back to1800s. This increase photoshopping and manipulation creates doubt in people's minds on whether or not they can believe any photo they see. The skills in addition to the technology in the industry of photo editing has not only improved but has changed completely from the edits taking a few weeks to a few minutes.
B-The philosophy of newspapers like the Washington Post and the New York times regarding image manipulation is that they are provided with a strict guideline regarding the editing ; “No colors will be altered from the original scene photographed.Photojournalists are required to turn in all of their proofs as well as their final portfolio in order for their photographs to be used.”
C-You could edit out blemishes or tone the body better. Editing can also be used to improve the colors in a picture.

D-
This is in my opinion the most unethical. OJ was made out to be darker than he really is. That is offensive to not only him but all people of color. Diversity is the of the most valuable themes in the world today. Every community must respect and admire all people regardless of anything else. This picture tries to change his color to maybe show how "diverse" TIME is but diversity is accepting everyone and not changing anything especially not people's color.
